Letter from Deborah Pearson - January, 2017

CAN’T BELIEVE IT IS ALREADY 2017!  Time passes by so quickly, doesn’t it?  It will soon be (3) years since our near-fatal vehicle/trailer accident.  There are not enough words that can express the heartfelt gratitude that we have for the many people who showed us God’s love following that tragic day.  We received numerous calls, cards, visits and gifts from those loving folks, some of whom we did not even know, but God does.  We know that the heavens were bombarded with prayer.  A simple “thank you” is not nearly enough.  To those we have mentioned that voiced their concerns for us, we deeply appreciate it.  We pray that God has richly blessed you for your giving hearts and blessed you 100 fold for it.

God has done many great things with His healing power.  My prayer had always been that if an accident would happen that my daughter, Natasha, would be spared of injuries.  Praise God!  He answered my prayer!

Natasha’s physical injuries were pretty minimal, praise God, but her injuries were buried deep within her heart and soul, but God.  After the accident she was thrown into being my private care giver, feeding tube and all.  Thank you Lord!

I, on the other hand, was not so fortunate.  It was said that I probably would not survive the accident at all as they air-lifted me to Hermann Hospital in Houston, but God.  It was said that I would not have many abilities with my left arm and hand, but God.  It was questioned whether I would be able to sing and play my keyboard ever again, but God.  The list goes on and on and on, but God.  For those who have watched my recoveries are amazed and call me “A Walking Miracle”!  Praise God!!!

I have remaining disabilities with my overall physical body, my right eye and my left ear (hearing), but God.  I am still looking for 100% restoration.  Please keep on praying ‘til the answer comes!!!!

We can both truthfully say that our journey has not been easy but with the knowledge that “…God will never leave you or forsake you.”Hebrews 13:5, has definitely given us the comfort we desperately have needed.

Today, our ministry has not ended.  We are very busy still following the call God has placed on our lives, but maybe in a few different ways.  Natasha is Worship Leader at Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont, she is a full-time student of Liberty University out of Lynchberg, Va. finishing her degree in Psychology/Christian Counseling, presents our ministry, ‘The Pearsons’, locally to four nursing rehabs./assisted living facilities a month and still takes care of Mom.  She is a very busy lady!

I am taking classes from Light University in Life Coaching/Counseling, holding a Ladies Bible Study Group Meeting every Thursday, playing our church piano in worship when needed, presenting our ministry, ‘The Pearsons’, locally to four nursing rehabs./assisted living facilities a month and a stay-at-home Mom.

Together, when our ministry, ‘The Pearsons’, is called upon to minister in churches whether it be concerts, revivals, ladies’ events or special services, we are fulfilling our calling to do so.  Praise God!!!

Thank you again!  We continue to covet your prayers and lift you up to our Mighty God for good health, prosperity, and a closer walk with Him!

In Jesus Name!

Deborah
